...is the portfolio site of New Talent BAFTA nominated animator and director, Jessica Ashman.

Jessica specialises in stop-motion, 2-D animation and illustration and lives in bonny Glasgow. In 2007, she graduated from the University of Lincoln with a 1st Class B.A (hons) in Animation. She quickly found that the creation of her student film, ‘The Seeds of Change’ gave her a taste and (hunger) for animation & short film production.

Since graduating, she has worked on productions at BBC Wales, BBC Scotland and design studios such as ISO Design, Sequence and Me and the Giants. She was successfully selected as one of the talent pool of filmmakers on the 2010 Scottish Digital Shorts, where she wrote, animated and directed her first professionally funded short, Fixing Luka, developed and produced with DigiCult.

She likes dancing, weird music and tea. She does not like Turkish Delight.
