Hello, people of the interwebs. Please make your way to the 'Animation' page, to see my updated 2008 showreel. There are also some stills of my new short film to see (nothing full yet..it has to compete alongside working a 9-5 placement and having a life!) here and here. Had a bit of a haul of my illustration and design work too, with more to come over the next few days.

It's quite strange how I update this a lot at the end of a month. Anyway, i'm not dead. I'm in Cardiff! And currently on Cyfle's one year Multi-platform Production Assistant trainee scheme. This involves an 8 month placement at BBC Wales New Media and a 2 month placement at an independent company. It's all very interesting so far, and i'm learning a lot about the new media/the media industry in general. I'm also working on a new film, in my spare time, which I aim to complete by the end of July. No title as of yet, but let's just say it involves old fashioned circus performers and woman with a strange criteria for her perfect man. MYSTERIOUS.

Tidied things up a bit and added a few images into 'Illustrations'. Have a gander at the first stop-motion model costume I made, which is in there too. The links section has also been updated with a few of my fellow uni chums websites. There's some quality work to be found at Hayley's, James', Callum's and (very soon) Adam's websites. Might as well pimp out Kayums portfolio again too!

Welly, welly, well. Things have been updated! There is a new drawing within my second year uni work as well as the animated projects i've been working on since January.

Like promised, i've finally updated the 'Animation' page with four of my university projects. Apologies for the gargantuan size of the 'Beats and Pieces' video. If anyone can tell me a way of making that particular short smaller in file size (without losing image quality), please email me at jessi [at] jessla.co.uk. Also, i've added a link to my friend, Kayum Roy, in zee (suprise, suprise) 'Links' Page. Go check out his fantastic animation work. Go!

Behold! An update! I've added all of my first year, personal and 2nd year (so far) work to the 'Illustrations' gallery. As part of my (many) new years resolutions, I intend to keep this site updated. In a few days, I should have my animated shorts for you to see.

Hoorah! After much stopping and starting and swearing and random bursts of interpretive dance, the site is up! Welcome to my online doodle dumping ground. Or y'know..gallery. There isn't much now, but keep coming back for updates of drawings and (soon to come) short animations. And it will be updated, dammit.
